![]() It did this weird thing where it got a high quality image and a low quality image for every picture. It did recover a lot of files, but most lost their metadata. ![]() Photorec had a lot of duplicates, however did recover way more word documents and powerpoints. Diskdrill didn't however recover many of the word documents or powerpoints I also had reformatted, only the photos and videos really. Overall, it recovered around 200 gigabites which was more than I lost, likely due to the duplicates. However, I did notice quite a few duplicates when looking through the files, and some half grey ones *broken*. Personally, it recovered quite a lot of files that I thought were lost at first, and the metadata was still there for a lot of them. ![]() I decided to buy it anyway on the cheapest plan. I used a seagate 1 terrabite backup drive and accidentally reformatted it.ĭiskdrill was very expensive which made me very worried at first with the reviews on here. I wanted to make an unbiased perspective on both of the data recovery options based on my experience, and for the average person who may not want all of the technical details. ![]()
